Sheets - H&H |
|
Damping
sheets are manufactured from a Bitumen or PVA based material. They
are designed to minimise noise and vibration radiation from sheet
metal and can improve the sound insulation of the substrate by adding
mass.
Several
grades are available to suit varying application needs and all have
a full self-adhesive backing. A number of grades have a Class 'O'
foil facing on one side for improved fire rating.

Sheets - SALEX |
|
Barrier
Mats - SALEX are bitumen free heavy duty sound proofing membranes
that are simple to apply and highly effective. They are manufactured
from chlorinated polyethylene and are extremely supple, elastomeric
even at low temperatures and their performance remains unaffected
by ageing.
They are designed to add mass and reduce noise breakout from pipes,
ducts and other equipment.
Barrier
Mats - SALEX are available plain or foil faced one side and with
a self-adhesive backing.

| AluDamp |
|
AluDamp
is manufactured from 0.5mm aluminium with an energy absorbing visco-elastic
polymer on one side.
It
is designed to minimise noise and vibration radiating from resonating
structures and can reduce noise by up to 30dB.
AluDamp
is available in flat sheets and can be die-cut to size and shape.
The material is supplied with a release paper enabling it to be
bonded directly on to a substrate.

| CoustiPlate |
|
CoustiPlate
is manufactured from two layers of corrosion resistant, zinc coated,
mild steel or aluminium with an energy absorbing visco-elastic core.
The
resulting constrained layer damping sheet is designed to reduce
sound transmission loss by eliminating resonance.
CoustiPlate
is available in flat sheets and can be die-cut to size and shape.
The material can be sheared, punched, drilled, screwed or riveted
in the same way as conventional sheet metals.

Damping Compound |
|
Vibration
Damping compound is a water based co-polymer emulsion with mineral
fillers and a low permeable, elastomeric binder.
It
is solvent free, easy to apply and can be used in most interior
and semi-exposed areas.
It
is designed to reduce noise by damping resonant vibration caused
by continuous or impulsive excitation of the substrate to which
it is applied. Vibration damping Compound can be sprayed onto smooth
and irregular surfaces. Once applied it has a monolithic spray texture
finish.
