AluDamp
AluDamp
is manufactured from 0.5mm aluminium with an energy absorbing visco-elastic
polymer on one side.
It
is designed to minimise noise and vibration radiating from resonating
structures and can reduce noise by up to 30dB.
AluDamp
is available in flat sheets and can be die-cut to size and shape. The
material is supplied with a release paper enabling it to be bonded directly
on to a substrate.

Damping
Compound
Vibration
Damping compound is a water based co-polymer emulsion with mineral fillers
and a low permeable, elastomeric binder.
It is solvent free, easy to apply and can be used in most interior and
semi-exposed areas.
It
is designed to reduce noise by damping resonant vibration caused by continuous
or impulsive excitation of the substrate to which it is applied.
Vibration
damping Compound can be sprayed onto smooth and irregular surfaces. Once
applied it has a monolithic spray texture finish. It may be possible to
match specific colour requirements - please enquire for details.

Damping
Sheets -Bitumen
Bitumen
Based Damping Sheets are manufactured from bitumen fillers with added
mineral fillers and synthetic rubber to form a highly visco-elastic material.
They
are designed to minimise acoustic and vibration radiation of sheet metal.
They can improve sound insulation performance of the substrate by adding
mass.
There are two grades of Bitumen Based Damping Sheets supplied to the rail
industry (DS3A and DS5A). Both have an aluminium foil facing heat sealed
to one side for improved fire performance. They are available with a self-adhesive
backing, in sheets or die-cut to size and shape.

CoustiPlate
CoustiPlate
is manufactured from two layers of corrosion resistant, zinc coated mild
steel, stainless steel or aluminium with an energy absorbing visco-elastic
core.
The
resulting constrained layer damping sheet is designed to reduce sound
transmission loss by eliminating resonance.
CoustiPlate
is available in flat sheets and can be die-cut to size and shape. The
material can be sheared, punched, drilled, screwed or riveted in the same
way as conventional sheet metals.
