Impact
Resistance Makes SportsPanel a Clear Winner
Acoustic
Specialist Hodgson & Hodgson has registered another impressive feature
for its acoustic ceiling panel range. SportsPanel has achieved the highest rating for impact resistance in a recent test,
confirming its robust construction and adding another attribute to its
CV.
SportsPanel
achieved Class 1A when tested for impact resistance in accordance with
BS EN 13964:2004. In practical terms, this means that the surface of the
panels will withstand a ball impact speed of 16 metres per second, whether
fixed to the underside of a roof or into an existing ceiling grid. Its
am impressive standard to have achieved, as Sandra Fixter from Hodgson
& Hodgson confirms: "All our wall and ceiling panels have very
high standards of acoustic performance. Some environments, however, demand
a little more in terms of robustness and durability - sports and leisure
facilities are a good example. The tests that SportsPanel has undergone
prove that this product offers the best possible impact resistance for
these types of application".
