New
Eco-Friendly Flooring Product from Hodgson & Hodgson
Hodgson
& Hodgson's new easy-to-install acoustic floor product, Reduc
Impact, is made from a mixture of selected recycled rubber fibres,
making it as kind to the environment as it is to those working with it.
Reduc Impact provides outstanding impact sound deadening for residential
and commercial floors, with a high load resistance and superb elasticity.
An
ideal soft solution for under concrete screeds, Reduc Impact is a polyurethane-bound
mixture of rubber fibres and makes an excellent resilient layer to reduce
impact sound in floors. With a high resistance to compressive loads, the
newest addition to the Hodgson & Hodgson range is easy to install,
its loose-lay system ensuring there is no slippage during installation.
Reduc
Impact retains its elasticity once laid and has excellent thermal conductivity,
making it an ideal partner for under-floor heating systems. Significantly,
the high levels of resilience do not compromise its sound absorption performance:
Reduc Impact meets and exceeds tough Acoustic Building requirements.
"We're
extremely pleased with the performance of Reduc Impact," says Glynne
Balshaw-Jones of Hodgson & Hodgson. "It has tested very well,
exceeding acoustic building guidelines, and its flexibility and easy installation
should make it extremely popular!"
