New
Music Block Achieves Top Acoustic Performance
The
conversion of an old caretaker's bungalow into a state of the art music
block has reaffirmed the Art College status that Grange School, Shrewsbury
was granted last year. The school used Hodgson & Hodgson's SoundFloor, SoundSlab, CleanSound and SilentDoor acoustic products, along with ReSound
partition wall system to provide the optimum acoustic environment
for the new single storey facility.
"Our
new music block represents a significant investment for the school and
we have been delighted with the finished results" says Julia Thomas,
Grange School's headteacher. We were well advised in terms of the acoustic
products to be fitted and this has been demonstrated by the excellent
sound quality and sound-proofing within the new building".
