Gateway Community College, Thurrock

Gateway Community College is a new secondary school designed to cater for approximately 1600 pupils. The two storey development which is split into four main blocks will contain teaching areas and classrooms, music and drama rooms, sports facilities as well as offices and other administrative rooms.

H&H Acoustic Consultancy Division carried out a full assessment in line with Building Bulletin 93 "Acoustic Design of Schools" taking into consideration noise break-in through the building envelope, noise transfer between internal floors and walls and reverberation time in all teaching areas.
